Staking
Staking allows users to participate and earn from the Mystic ecosystem.
How Staking Works
- Stake MYSTIC at any time.
- Your DPY rate is locked at the moment you stake. It will not change until you compound or unstake.
- Yield accrues continuously and is credited when you compound or unstake.
- Unstaking triggers a cooldown period, during which yield stops but cards remain intact.
Users may unstake or use the compound button to:
- Harvest current yield
- Add it to principal
- Lock the current global DPY
- Preserve active cards and slots
- Apply a cooldown, default 7 days
Compounding does not remove cards.
Unstaking removes all active cards and requires reactivation.
DPY Curve
Mystic employs a dynamic algorithmic DPY mechanism.
The global DPY is not random and not calculated on a fixed timer.
It adjusts based on ecosystem activity, reacting to:
- Staking and compounding actions
- Card usage and gameplay activity
- Pack openings
- Gambling interactions
- Event windows and engagement spikes
Key Facts from the Whitepaper
- Base DPY typically sits in the range 0.05 percent to 0.3 percent.
- DPY spikes during times of high participation, creating strategic timing opportunities.
- Users who stake or compound during these spikes lock the new DPY until their next action.
- Cards multiply the locked in DPY while burning durability only from the bonus portion.
This creates a strategic yield timing layer for active users.
Sustainability
MysticDAO is part of the larger Mystic ecosystem, which generates revenue across multiple verticals.
All revenue contributes to long term sustainability through the Treasury.
The Mystic dApp
Every on chain interaction generates a small gas fee or protocol fee:
- Pack openings
- Card plays
- Compounding
- Staking
- Gambling interactions
- MagicSwap trades
Revenue Use
All revenue flows into the Treasury via buyback vaults and is used to:
- Conduct strategic buybacks of the MYSTIC token
- Strengthen long term yield backing
- Support future revenue backed yield models
This design ensures a sustainable loop where user activity reinforces the yield engine.
Card Packs
Card packs integrate directly with the staking system and affect yield through gameplay.
- Packs provide cards that multiply staking yield and introduce strategic effects.
- Standard Packs cost 25 USDC and offer 100 percent RTP in durability.
- Premium Packs cost 250 USDC and provide 10 times the durability, designed for larger stakes.
- Pack revenue enters the Pack Vault and is later used for strategic buybacks of MYSTIC.
Card usage also influences pack progression, unlocking free packs the longer cards remain active.
MagicSwap
MagicSwap contributes directly to the Mystic ecosystem economy and Treasury.
- MagicSwap is Mystic’s proprietary swap and routing system.
- Swap fees are 0.05 percent, typically about half of competitor router fees.
- Volume routed through MagicSwap generates protocol revenue which flows into buybacks and the Treasury.
- Users can earn Magic Points via trading and referrals.
- Weekly and monthly leaderboards reward active traders.
As MagicSwap grows, its volume becomes a major revenue source backing yield and strengthening the ecosystem.
